Appendix 3
The aim of the Australian National Botanic Gardens is to grow, study and promote Australian plants. To support this aim the Botanic Gardens maintains a collection of accurately documented photographs of Australian plants and their habitats. Photographs of parks and reserves managed by the Australian Government's Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts are also housed at the Gardens as part of the Photograph Collection.
There are, however images within web pages on the ANBG/CPBR website that are not part of the collection, these remain copyright to the photographer and we have no rights to licence their use to a third party.
Licences to reproduce copyright images from the ANBG Collection are issued on the following conditions:
• acknowledgment of the source of the slide is included in any publication;
• credit to the photographer where listed;
• reproduction fees in accordance with the charges shown are paid to the Botanic Gardens;
• the Botanic Gardens may request one or more copies of any publication in which the photographs appear;
• all images are copyright and must not be duplicated or used in any manner other than indicated on the licence agreement;
All images are supplied digitally. No film duplicates are now provided.
Payment by credit card is preferred, using the fax form supplied, enquire with the Photo Curator for details.
Overseas orders will only be supplied once credit card transactions are acquitted.

Note: sound files and line illustrations on the ANBG/CPBR website are treated in the same way as photographs when copyright is held by the ANBG.
Some images on the ANBG/CPBR website are used with permission of an external copyright owner for that purpose only.
Not all images on the ANBG/CPBR website are available to licence to a third party due to copyright or moral rights conditions.
